I fell in love with Tux’s sire Pyro Thyme SA as a yearling and decided soon after that I would breed a mare to him as soon as he was ready.  So in 2003, when Pyro first became available as a breeding stallion, I decided to breed Tux’s dam SMA Alad Khelima to him.  I never expected to be taken on the journey of a lifetime as a result of that breeding!!

When Tux was born in 2004 he showed early on that he had great conformation and was very athletic.  He also proved right from the start to have a very playful disposition which we quickly fell in love with.

As Tux grew, he proved himself early on at Arabian shows.  First with Mike Neal in Arabian Halter and then with Jamie Lawton (KYB Dressage) in Sport Horse In Hand, Dressage and Sport Horse Show Hack.

At the end of 2015, we retired Tux from showing to focus on breeding.  He had won an unprecedented number of Championships and Reserve Championships at an early age of 11. But in 2019, the Sport Horse National Show came to Crete, IL which is very close to home so we brought him back out to show in Sport Horse in Hand and he showed once again what a great stallion he is by winning another National Championship.  The details of all of his accomplishments are listed below.  Tux has Five National Championships in AHA Sport Horse In Hand and USEF FEI Level Dressage.  In total Tux has 18 National Titles and 47 Regional Titles.  He's also been named a Leading Purebred Sire of In Hand Winners in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.  In 2021 & 2023 he was named the Top Ranked Leading Purebred In Hand and Performance Sire.  100% of his Get that have shown have won at Local and/or Regional or National shows.

We are continuing to focus on Tux's breedings  He is producing beautiful foals with great conformation, intelligence and athleticism several of whom have won Regional / National Titles.  The mare owners that are breeding to Tux are VERY happy with the results and we are getting several repeat breedings.
